Better hydration for my cat
My vet recommended a stainless steel fountain after my cat got a bacterial infection, got dehydrated and had a seizure . She said stainless steel retards the growth of bacteria (even in filtered water). My cat loves this fountain. My other two were a bit stand-offish at first because the water bubbles up faster than their old plastic fountain but they love it now.
